Olympic Ice Skating Legend Michelle Kwan Marries Her Coast Guard Officer Fiance in Rhode Island

 
Olympic ice skating legend Michelle Kwan married Clay Pell at First United Methodist Church in Providence, Rhode Island on Saturday.
Among the guests in attendance were Dorothy Hamill, Brian Boitano and actress Amy Smart and her husband Carter Ooosterhouse.
Kwan wore a strapless Vera Wang wedding dress for the vows. Pell, a JAG and Lieutenant in the U.S. Coast Guard, was dressed in full uniform.
After reciting self written vows, the couple departed the church under a saber arch formed by the swords of four uniformed officers of the Coast Guard.

 
A reception followed at the Hope Club. Pell is the director for strategic planning on the National Security staff at the White House. The couple got engaged last summer while vacationing on Block Island.
